The Bett show is the world's largest education event. It hosts over 800 leading companies in the education technology world, and brings people together from all corners of the global education community. Whether you're a child, parent, or education professional, the Bett show will open your eyes to some amazing new innovations that are actively transforming and improving education worldwide. So, naturally, My Online Schooling couldn't wait to attend!

A couple of weeks ago, the My Online Schooling Education Team travelled to London for the day to attend the show. We met and discovered so many amazing products and organisations, but we whittled them down to our Top 5 favourite exhibitors for this week's blog. Check them out below!

iSAMS

iSAMS is a school management information system "made for teachers, by teachers". The platform is super user-friendly, and includes loads of different features that makes running a school so much more efficient. iSAMS has apps for teachers, students and parents to help manage communication, as well as a digital space where you can see everything from reports and timetables to school news and directories.

GCSE Pod

This amazing resource has won multiple awards as one of the most highly regarded GCSE learning resources. GCSE Pod provides a wide range of tools to maximise pupils' GCSE learning and revision. Not only does it benefit students by providing high quality GCSE resources, but it takes the pressure off of teachers by helping them track and monitor students' progress, notifying them of any learning gaps and marking homework automatically.

Girls Who Code

Girls Who Code have one clear mission: "to close the gender gap in technology by teaching girls computer science, bravery, and sisterhood". They've recognised that women and girls are being left behind in STEM careers, and are working to change that by facilitating coding clubs for girls around the world. The clubs are totally free, and are open to girls ages 11-18 to engage with coding through fun, interactive activities and collaborative projects.

National Online Safety

National Online Safety are dedicated to making the internet a safer place for children and young people. They do this by providing Online Safety training to school staff, parents and children and equipping them with the knowledge they need to stay safe and secure when working through the internet. They work to raise awareness of online dangers, especially those that affect and harm children, and offer a variety of engaging courses.

Turnitin

Maintaining academic integrity in schools isn't always the easiest thing - that's where Turnitin comes in. Turnitin is an advanced online plagiarism checker used by schools and universities across the globe. It prevents plagiarism by highlighting potential misconduct on a piece of work. It's a super helpful resource for institutions, as well as for students, as it lays the foundation for crucial skills and behaviour such as original thinking and authentic writing.
