Ensuring Success

Parent Support

We know that a lot of families are completely new to online schooling. If your child is transitioning to online education from bricks-and-mortar school for the first time, you are likely to have a  few questions. As a school, it's important to us that both you and your child feel supported throughout your time with us, and to make that transition as smooth as possible.

We are delighted to have a team of customer service professionals we call 'Success Coordinators' on hand to ensure the success of yours and your child's experience with our school. Learn more about our Success Coordinators below.

What is a Success Coordinator?

Your Success Coordinator is your main point of contact once you enrol with My Online Schooling. They work closely with our Education Team to deliver the best experience possible for your family. Your Success Coordinator is available to support you in your journey with us and to help with any questions you might have day to day.

Why do I need a Success Coordinator?

Having an assigned Success Coordinator allows for a more personalised school experience, making sure you and your child are supported no matter where you live in the world. They also allow us to build those all-important home-school partnerships to ensure the success of your child's education with us.

How do I contact my Success Coordinator?

Our Success Coordinator team are available every day of the school week to make sure no question goes unanswered. We will give you your assigned Success Coordinator's contact details once you enrol. You will be able to contact them via email or telephone throughout the academic year.

Aside from helping with questions day to day, our Success Coordinator team also carry out check-in calls to:

  • Provide updates on your child's progress and celebrate their successes
  • Collect feedback on your experience with the school
  • Offer any additional support you might need

Junior School Success Coordinator Team Leader

Since graduating in 2013 I have pursued my passion for travel, from working on-board yachts in Croatia, to ski resorts in France and managing a luxury hotel for dogs in Western Australia. Back in the 'real world' I spent a number of years working as a luxury travel advisor, building close relationships with customers and tailor-making once in a lifetime holidays.

I am a people-person with a passion for excellent customer service and have developed these skills in a range of industries, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support you and your families' journey to success with My Online Schooling.

As a Success Coordinator Team Leader at My Online Schooling, my role is to support you and your child in achieving success, however that may look to the individual. I can be reached by email, phone call or even video chat, and no question is too small! Working closely with the Education team, you may see me in the classroom and assemblies, and I will be reaching out to families to celebrate all of the successes along the way.

I love the diversity and inclusivity of the school, and it is great to see children from all over the world coming together to share ideas and passions whilst working on projects in classrooms, or sharing their hobbies in our after school clubs. I also love the values embedded into the ethos of My Online Schooling - Respect, Empower, Thrive. Every member of staff on the team lives by these values every day, and it is great to work with like-minded people who share the same vision. We all know we are a part of something special, paving an inclusive, diverse and successful future for the next generation.

Outside of work I love travelling to new countries, going for long walks along the beach with my sausage dog Crumpet, or simply relaxing with a coffee and a good crime novel.

Junior School Success Coordinators

Before joining My Online Schooling I was previously in a Customer Service based role, where I have developed various skills over multiple platforms; phone, email, chat and social media and have become experienced in building and developing relationships online. Having this type of experience has allowed me to create strong relationships with the families I look after, and to communicate with them to streamline the best possible experience at My Online Schooling.

Alongside working with MOS I am also studying part time towards my BSc in Psychology with Counselling at The Open University. Studying online helps me relate to the pupils and families enrolled at our school.

My role as a Junior Success Coordinator is to ensure you and your family are well supported and have the best experience possible throughout your child’s online education journey. I will be here as your first point of contact to answer any questions asked and help you in any way I can.

The thing I love most about My Online Schooling is the caring community that surrounds our pupils. Success means many different things to many different people and everyone here at My Online Schooling want our young people to succeed in their own way whatever that may be.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, taking my two dogs for walks in the country and I also have a new found love for camping. Earlier this year I completed the NC500 around Scotland and I am already planning another camping road trip!

Secondary School Success Coordinator Team Leader

My role here is to provide all our parents and pupils with the best support possible. Having spent years working in customer service, I know that the key to a good experience for parents is smooth communication – no query is too small!

I studied psychology and sociology, and I qualified in Social Sciences. I also volunteered as a classroom assistant for a local primary school, so I know how traditional schools operate. That’s why I’m such an advocate for what we do here – I’ve met lots of children who could have benefitted from it. It’s a brilliant option to have.

Before I joined My Online Schooling, I also worked in various customer-focused roles, working with people of all ages and backgrounds. The experience has helped me in my role here, providing the best possible support for our parents and pupils. It also shows me what an amazing team we have here. They’re truly amazing. It’s such a positive and supportive atmosphere, which really comes across in everything we do.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with animals, especially my kitten Tigger! I love music – I play a couple of instruments and I’m currently learning the piano – while I also love musical theatre, movies and travelling to sunny places.

Secondary School Success Coordinator

I studied GCSE's and A levels in England, before graduating from the University of East Anglia with a BSc in Environmental Science. I have worked in a variety of customer service roles, and love working with people. When volunteering overseas in Costa Rica I took part in a workshop to teach a class of children from a local school about recycling. That experience sparked my interest and made me aware of just how important access to a quality education is.

As part of our amazing Secondary Success Coordinator Team, I am the first point of contact for my assigned Secondary families at My Online Schooling. I help with general queries from our enrolled families, and ensure the ongoing success of their and their child's experience at the school.

My favourite thing about working with MOS is the atmosphere - there is an amazing energy in the office, everyone genuinely loves what they do and is passionate about making My Online Schooling the best it can be.

Outside of work I enjoy reading a good book, practising calligraphy and walks in Scotland's beautiful countryside.

Secondary School Success Coordinator

Before joining My Online Schooling I have been lucky enough to specialise in relationship management, working in numerous customer centric roles both locally and internationally. My most recent venture prior to MOS has been within the digital education field. I am a 'people person' and believe this alongside my knowledge will ensure you have a positive experience working with me.

I majored in Education Studies at The University of Chester specialising in inclusive Education. During my studies I had the opportunity to work as an international mentor helping international students transition from their home country to the UK, increasing my ability to connect with parents and pupils on a personal level. My individual experience with online learning whilst working for Walt Disney World in Florida has enhanced my ability to relate and empathise with current pupils. This knowledge has fuelled my passion for inclusivity in Education which is what has drawn me to MOS.

My role as Secondary Success Coordinator is to work alongside you to ensure your young person has a positive learning experience. MOS teaches both academic learning and social development through clubs and our support hub. MOS truly epitomises the pupil-first philosophy and I am excited to be part of your child’s learning journey!

Outside of work I am a keen hiker and enjoy climbing Munros when the weather permits! I’m an enthusiastic theatre goer. I am also a foodie so enjoy travelling to new cities, trying out unusual cuisine.

Secondary School Success Coordinator

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from The University of York. My employment background includes a variety of customer facing roles, including online stock brokerage, and Motability, where I was responsible for ensuring that individuals with disabilities had the correct adaptations for their vehicles. Working for a variety of companies like this has given me the experience to find solutions to any event that may occur.

My role as a Secondary Success Coordinator at My Online Schooling includes liaising with parents and teachers to ensure that every child is getting the best educational experience possible. I have a particular passion for working with children with disabilities to ensure they get the most out of every class they participate in.

I enjoy working with a passionate team of individuals who are helping to build a better way of learning for children. I also really like the focus MOS places on independent work for pupils which helps them develop key analytical and critical thinking skills that a bricks and mortar school might not do.

When I’m not in the office, I love to read and listen to vinyl records, of which my collection is rapidly expanding. During the summer months I enjoy going to music festivals and hiking around Scotland.
